The 7th Annual Strive Olympic Triathlon
Run570 is happy to continue the tradition and great foundation of the Strive Olympic Triathlon. This race started because a group of local triathletes felt that they wanted to give back to their triathlon community >> we can’t be happier that they entrusted us to continue their tradition.
We all agree that athletes have a unique understanding of what other athletes wanted when looking for an ideal race. We hope our race will be fun, safe, and fast.
A beautiful course!
SWIM: The swim course is a 1500 meter route in the Lake of the Four Seasons. Athletes will start/finish the swim at the beach area.
TRANSITION: The transition area is the tennis courts across from the lake. Athletes will come out of the water and run across the sandy beach before entering transition. Bikes are racked in a first come – first racked fashion the morning of the race. The transition area opens to participants at 5:00 AM.
BIKE: Out-and-back style bike course. Athletes will leave Beech Mountain Lakes and make a right turn on 309 followed by a RIGHT turn on Honey Hole Road. Roads are open to traffic. Athletes will ride on the shoulder on 309 ‘with’ traffic on the outbound ride and ‘against’ traffic on the return.
RUN: The 2022 Run Course is being finalized.
